Details
The road to Gulmarg itself is a visual treat. Lush valleys carpeted with wildflowers unfold before you, occasionally punctuated by charming villages with traditional wooden houses. As you ascend, the scenery transforms into a dramatic display of snow-clad peaks that pierce the azure sky. The final approach winds through pine forests, their earthy fragrance filling the air, culminating in the picture-perfect Gulmarg meadow.
- On your arrival you will be greeted by our driver cum
guide and proceed towards your hotel to freshen up.
After that, it is time to explore Srinagar’s Dal lake also
known as Jewel of Kashmir. Take a shikara ride, visit
floating market where you can find Kashmiri
handicraft and Kashmiri Carpets.
- Or you can also visit Char Chinari – famous for its
4 Chinar trees on a piece of land surrounded by
water, India’s first floating post office,
KabootarKhana and local Dal Lake market for
some shopping. Spend your evening by the
banks of Dal lake and later return to your hotel in Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay.
- The driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you on
an excursion to Doodhpathri. Stroll through the panoramic
'Valley of Milk’ and marvel at the vast green meadows and
the that rivers seem like milky streams. It is a slopy grassy
landscape with streams running over large stones. The
famous Tosamaidan, lies in the west of Doodhpathri. After
the sightseeing, return to Srinagar and explore some nearby
markets. You can visit Badshah Chowk & Zaina Kadal
Market and shop for some unique souvenirs. Have an
overnight stay in Srinagar.
- Start your day with some breakfast, pack your necessities
and leave for Sonamarg – which literally translates to
Meadow of Gold’. It is a captivating hill station in Ganderbal
district. The Sindh River that meanders through the
splendid valley is a sight to behold. Sonamarg is a striking
silvery scene set against emerald meadows and blue sky,
and is an all-time favorite place among the community of
mountain photographers.
- You can hire ponies to trip up to the Thajiwas
Glacier which is situated at an altitude of 9,186
feet and is a major tourist attraction where snow
remains through-out the year. You can also visit
zero point also know as Zojila Pass (the gateway
of Ladakh) by a Union Taxi. Later after exploring
and sightseeing, you will be returning back to
Srinagar to your hotel for dinner and overnight
stay.
- After breakfast, leave for Gulmarg. Dubbed as one
of the best skiing destination in India and
Heartland of Winter Sports, Gulmarg is the
crowning glory of Kashmir. The word Gulmarg
literally means “Meadow of Flowers”. On the way to
Gulmarg you can take a short stop at Tangmarg for
refreshment and capture the scenic views.
- Best to visit throughout the year Gulmarg is
known for its ski resort, Gondola – Asia 2nd largest
cable car ride and highest golf course in the
world. Activities to take part in are Gondola, ATV
Riding, horse riding, trekking, etc. After exploring
you will be returning back to you houseboat in
Srinagar for overnight stay.
- After having a heaty breakfast, check out from the
hotel.
- En route to Pahalgam, Visit Awantipura ruins and seek
the blessings of Lord Vishnu from an 1100-year-old
temple.
- On reaching Pahalgam, check into the hotel and head
out for local sightseeing.
- Pahalgam with its lovely meadows, gurgling
streams, apple orchards and a variety of trees, from
pine to deodar, resembles a marvellous portrait.
- Walk hand in hand through the charming
meadows to reach a small hamlet of Baisaren
which is set in the pine and fir forest and offers the
best views in Kashmir.
- Return back to the hotel for dinner.
- Overnight stay in Pahalgam
- Check out from your hotel after which the
driver will transfer you to Srinagar
International Airport, where your trip comes
to an end.

Srinagar, we recommend that you book a
flight from Srinagar after 2:00 PM if you are
